Beneath the Skin
Beneath the Skin is to not only show the different textures within the body, but among different genders, races, and ages. Body image is becoming one of the top reasons for depression in teens and young adults. I wanted to prove statistics wrong by creating this type of collage; to provide the audience images of people from all backgrounds being the components of what we all are: people. The same skin cells, blood vessels, roots, and biology ideals. We all have hair, colored eyes, ears, noses, torsos, and limbs. We are ALL beautiful people. Not just on the surface, but Beneath the Skin.
